Creditview is one of the many neighbourhoods that makes up the City of Mississauga. Creditview looks like the definition of 'Suburbia" with row upon row of subdivision homes with multiple neighbourhood green spaces. Creditview is considered "Centre Court" in terms of amenities as residents enjoy fast and easy access to the Mississauga City Centre which is located just a few minutes north of this neighbourhood.
The main commercial area is located along Burnhamthorpe Road. The 403 highway forms the north boundary for the neighbourhood and the railway forms the southern boundary. The Mavis Erindale employment district is situated just to the south of Creditview.
This neighbourhood is surrounded by amenities. Creditview residents have easy access to the Mississauga City Centre shops and restaurants as well as theatre and arts facilities. The Square One Shopping Centre is one of largest shopping centres in Ontario at 2.2 million square feet and one of Canada’s top ten malls, with a combined over 320 shops, services and restaurants.
Creditview is a small neighbourhood with no schools in the immediate area. Residents do have easy access to schools in close proximity to Creditview.
The Erindale GO Station and MiWay are easily accessible.

There are multiple neighbourhood parks featuring green spaces for everyone.
Creditview started as a farming community in the 1800s. Many of the farms were family owned, one of the most prominent of these farmers was the Crozier family. The Crozier Farmhouse built in 1846 is still standing located at the end of 4265 Perivale Road, on the north side of Beacon Lane. This home is designated as a heritage home and is a privately owned residence. It remained in the Crozier family until 2002.
This area was designated for residential development by the City of Mississauga in the 1970s. The area south of what is now Highway 403 was built in the late 1970s and early 80s and the area north of the highway was developed in the late 1980s.
