Shiplake is proud to be a third generation family business. Initially, Albert Latner, the family patriarch, was a founding partner of Greenwin Properties in the 1940s. At that time, Greenwin was a pioneer in Toronto’s development boom. Several landmarks from that era now define their reputation as community builders. To this day, all of these developments are thriving components of the city’s urban landscape.
After a successful partnership in Greenwin Properties, the family created Shiplake in the 1970s to focus independently on real estate. Today they are a fully integrated company. The Shiplake Developments group has resources in land acquisition, development and construction management. The Shiplake Properties group has expertise in designing, managing and financing assets.
